Abu Dhabi Mobility Centre: Services and Contact Information

Abu Dhabi’s transportation landscape is undergoing a significant transformation with the rebranding of the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) to Abu Dhabi Mobility (AD Mobility). This change signifies a forward-thinking approach to developing a smarter, more sustainable, and efficient transportation system in the emirate. Encompassing a wide range of travel modes—land, air, and sea—AD Mobility aims to enhance residents’ lives, stimulate economic growth, and accommodate a growing population.

Holistic Approach of Abu Dhabi Mobility

The rebranding to Abu Dhabi Mobility represents a substantial evolution in its mandate. While maintaining a focus on land transportation, including buses and cycling networks, its expanded role now includes oversight of aviation and maritime activities. AD Mobility also manages driver and vehicle licensing, marking a comprehensive approach to transportation.

Its goals include increasing road capacity, reducing commute times, and introducing innovations such as an expanded bus fleet and dedicated cycling lanes. The establishment of an Intelligent Transport Management Centre (iTMC), utilizing artificial intelligence to optimize traffic flow, underscores its commitment to reducing congestion and enhancing travel efficiency.

Sustainable Transportation Initiatives

Sustainability is a core component of Abu Dhabi Mobility’s vision. The organization is committed to reducing the environmental footprint of transportation through several key initiatives:

  • Water Taxis and Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit Systems: Sustainable options for water and rail transport.
  • Expanded Cycling Infrastructure: Development of new cycling lanes and facilities.

By integrating these sustainable practices, AD Mobility aims to create an environmentally responsible transportation network.
